Watchmen

Wicked story. Clearly Zack Snyder had nothing to do with that. Steve Nash as Rorschach was a nice touch; I wouldn’t mind if the film was composed entirely of his scenes, because those other actors…woof. Try Acting School, babies. Also, that CGI wang? It better be the last one I ever see.

Most memorable line: “John…TV said you were on Mars”

Most important scene (not the most important scene (spoiler alert?)): Extended sex scene in spaceship-thing hovering above NYC set to “Hallelujah”…the Leonard Cohen one. To be clear, that’s not the sexy one. Ends with a triumphant burst of fire from the front of the ship, and my head hurts from the subtlety of Visionary Director Zack Snyder. That guy.

“Taco trucks, of course, are nothing new. Neither are upscale vehicles serving fancier fare to hip foodies. But thanks to the unprecedented speed and scale of its success—crowds often exceed 600 people—Kogi has already transcended its roots as a gourmet gastromobile and emerged, through a combination of cuisine, context, attitude and Internet alchemy, as something far more interesting: America’s first viral restaurant.” —“Thanks to Twitter, America’s First Viral Eatery” - Newsweek
