I’ll be honest: I’m not familiar with David Foster Wallace’s work, and his recent death served as the unfortunate incitement for my education. Particularly, the stream of memories at McSweeney’s has piqued my interest; the anecdotes are tender and tremendously sad, but beautiful just the same. In and of themselves, strangely, they comprise a memoir very worth reading.

Guitar Hero World Tour. This is just a partial setlist. Better than upcoming Rock Band? I am SO stoked. PLUS the new GH will feature drums and a mic. Drums with cymbals!
Hey, Bits readers, I need your help: Does anyone out there use AOL.com (or the home screen of the AOL software) for anything? Why? And do you want any changes from it?
first response: Having many internet savvy friends, I can say that I know but one person who visits AOL.com. As my grandfather dials up to his internet service, he is greeted (probably about once a week) by the AOL.com homepage. Issues of interest to him: Prescription drugs, machine tools, and economic news. If this is indicative of AOL’s user base (which I tend to think it may be), they have a tough time ahead of them.
